Christchurch Arts Festival

About
Christchurch Arts Festival

A lot has changed in Christchurch in the last year – but there has never been a better reason to come together and celebrate our wonderful city.

The Christchurch Arts Festival is a biennial event that aims to excite, entertain, educate and inspire the people of Chistchurch and its visitors.

The 2011 Festival will run from 12 August to 2 October and offer a rich, diverse programme with something for everyone every weekend. Thanks to sponsors and supporters these shows are being kept at the low ticket price of $20.

This festival will have a distinctly Christchurch focus, with talented performers coming back to their hometown, and many events reflecting the city – a strong sense of family, community and creativity.

Make sure you join our mailing list to ensure you are the first to know about our exciting 2011 programme.

The Christchurch Arts Festival Trust is a not-for-profit trust based firmly in the Christchurch community with trustees, patrons, friends, many of the sponsors and the bulk of the audiences from in and around Christchurch.
