The Wellington International Ukulele Orchestra has rapidly become New Zealand’s hottest music/comedy ensemble, building a cult following in the process. With an eclectic line-up of songs including sing-along favourites, blazing solos, sparkling harmonies and comic banter, the orchestra reproduces hit songs from across the musical spectrum, including numbers from The White Stripes, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Rod Stewart, Leonard Cohen, The Muttonbirds, Split Enz, Pixie Williams and DD Smash.
