Ireland’s leading jazz and blues singer, Mary Coughlan returns to Christchurch following the release of her new album, The House of Ill Repute, for what is set to be three unforgettable nights in the TelstraClear Club.

Alongside songs from the album, Mary sings a tribute to Peggy Lee, the American jazz icon whose onstage brilliance and offstage drama parallels Coughlan’s own career.

Singing from the soul, mixing a wry and laconic humour with a voracious stage presence, she has earned the reputation of the undisputed ‘Lady of the Blues’.
