Three of New Zealand’s finest singer songwriters, lay their hearts and voices on the line.
We asked Don McGlashan, Anna Coddington and Julia Deans to think about mortality and the songs they want to be remembered by.
They celebrate the power of song in this spell-binding performance. The first song – the song that turned them on to music. Then: a song from a favourite songwriter; the song they wish they had written; a song or two of their own; and finishing with the song they wish to leave behind and be remembered by.
Our thanks to Melbourne Festival who pioneered this way to celebrate the power of music.
