This baroque trio is named for the latitude linking Melbourne to New Zealand.
Comprising top graduates of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, including New Zealander Donald Nicolson, the group has a passion for 16th, 17th and 18th Century music and this programme features works by Buxtehude, Biber and JS Bach.
Latitude 37’s spontaneity is inspired by a love of improvisation, communication and the humanity of a genre of music intended to charm and enchant its audience.
